We are searching for an
for our client located in the central Finland area.

With it’s very broad product portfolio our client can provide customers with comprehensive solutions in various business areas utilizing woodbased rawmaterials. Our client’s annual turnover is 100M€+.
Export Manager’s responsibility is to reach defined sales targets both for current domestic and especially for current export customers, actively search for new potential export customers in the defined sales territories to increase annual sales and develop internal sales team operational and business processes within the company and in line with other units within the corporation. Export Manager reports to Chief Operating Officer of the company.
To succeed in the position, you need to have a solid track record in selling finnish sawn timber products to domestic and international customers and market, technical education preferably from woodprocessing industry and ability to find new export customers and open business relations with them. You know thoroughly the international timber business environment and you have wide existing contact network within the field. You are very good at communicating with customers and have a skill to develop long term customer relationships.You are willing to travel to the extent required to reach the set export sales targets and you have a good command of english language and perhaps you use fluently also other languages – like swedish or german – to support your sales efforts.
Your way of working is hungry for success, hands-on and open minded also in multicultural environment and your social skills meet the requirements of multinational customer base. You are willing to learn new things in case your customers are interested in making business with broader portfolio than sawn timber only.
Our client offers both a challenging and very interesting position providing a possibility to participate in hands-on development of the growth of the company and corporation. In case your effort and skills are found to be suitable for supervisory positions in the future, this option will be available. The office is located in the central Finland area, but position requires a comprehensive amount of travelling especially when looking for new potential export customers.
