
Key Account Manager
We are seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Key Account Manager to strengthen our collaboration with Wärtsilä and drive sales in the Process Industry. This role combines technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset, requiring both independent initiative and team collaboration.
Bollfilter Nordic has been operating in the Nordic market for over 40 years and is a part of the family own, globally operating filter manufacturer BOLL & KIRCH.
BOLL & KIRCH provides customized and sustainable industrial filters for a variety of industries worldwide. With over 75 years of experience, our filtration solutions are certified according to DIN ISO 9001 + ISO 14001 + ISO 45001 and recognized by the most important classification societies.
Our filters are used by our customers globally for machinery, engines and production facility safety, reliability and protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for Wärtsilä, working closely with their team to develop innovative filtration technology solutions alongside our R&D department in Germany.
- Sales & Business Development: Engage with both existing and new customers in industries such as paper mills, steel mills, mining, wastewater treatment, marine, and engine manufacturing.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to final order placement, ensuring long-term customer relationships and sustainable business growth.
- Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to enhance market presence, leveraging BOLLFILTER Nordic’s product portfolio.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, as well as the international BOLL & KIRCH network, to optimize customer solutions.
- Travel & Engagement: Travel as needed to customer locations across Finland to maintain relationships and explore new business opportunities.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Technical Background: Degree or equivalent qualification in a technical field, with strong knowledge of flow technology.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years in solution-oriented sales within the marine and process industry.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Proven ability to manage key accounts, handle commercial and technical dialogues, and drive sales through value-creating solutions.
- Communication Skills: Fluency in Swedish, Finnish, and English (spoken and written); German is an advantage.
- IT & Mobility: Proficiency in relevant computer applications; B driver’s license required.
