General Manager, Hotel St. George
We are looking for a positive and proactive charismatic GM with an obsession for guest and team member satisfaction and a dedication to creating memorable luxury experiences for our guests.
Your responsibilities
You will be involved as a General Manager in all aspects of the hotel and restaurant operations leading our team hands on management style. You will be accountable for the day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth running of all operational departments are met consistently to highest standards. Not only will your role be focused on guest satisfaction, but also on employee engagement and development. You will motivate and inspire your team to be their very best every day and in turn delight our guests. Alongside, this you will ensure the operations deliver in line with business budgets, targets and revenues, optimizing occupancy and profits.
You are responsible for the operating profit, budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, recruitment and training new team members. Developing and implementing service initiatives as well as implementing and complying with all company policies and standards. You are developing and overseeing sales and marketing initiatives and have a strong commercial mind-set. We expect you to improve our existing processes as well as creating new ways of doing things.

You have an eye for detail and sparkle in your eye to innovate and develop new ways to surprise our guests and their experience with us. Punctuality and flexibility to multitask are your strengths. You are enthusiastic and passionate of your work. You have excellent communications skills and working knowledge of Finnish legislation is preferable. Though you have a strong experience in hospitality you are also “thinking out of the box” and eager to create something new and extraordinary.
