Legal Specialist
You are invited to join our legal team which provides our own and Group’s asset management and institutional investor clients outsourced legal services under the AIFMD, UCITS and MiFID frameworks. You will also have a key position in our Service Development of Legal Services. And it goes without saying that you will be also our key asset in providing solutions to our client prospects.
You are enthusiastic in your field of expertise and therefore your legal knowledge is always up-to-date.
You will be in charge of:
- the legal services for existing clients and operating as a key and go-to person between the client and the public authorities.
- monitoring of the regulatory framework relating to investment services and investment funds on a multi-jurisdictional level
- building new business concepts.
You participate in the development of our services with the sales and management team and interact actively with existing and new clients. Depending on your interest you can also handle corporate governance and contract management of the Group. You will be based in Helsinki or Vaasa.
For this role it is necessary that you have:
- Appropriate educational background (law degree)
- Over 2 years of professional experience
- Entrepreneurial thinking
- Capability to analyze and structure complex legal and compliance matters.
- Excellent team working skills
- Good written and oral language command of Finnish and English. Other language skills are a benefit, especially Swedish.
We expect that you have an ability to discern what the client wants to achieve in their business, and you are able to propose and build straightforward structures that fulfill both regulatory requirements and achieves the targets of the client. Probably you have already established a functioning network with relevant public authorities. Experience from Private Equity and/or Real Estate industry is seen as an advantage.
