Chief Information Officer (CIO)
at Raute Corporation. As CIO, you will serve as a key advisory member to the group executive team, playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing long-term business growth strategies for your area of expertise.
In this position you are responsible for leading and managing the information and communications technologies (ICT) for Raute Group. You lead ICT team globally and makes sure internal and external user needs are being met. You also serve as an advisory member to the group executive team and contributes to long-term business growth strategies for his/her area of expertise, establish ICT goals and timelines for projects and develop and maintain control over ICT budget globally.
CIO oversees ICT organisation which has the following Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision: You will be at the forefront of establishing ICT goals and timelines for projects, ensuring they align with Raute’s overarching vision and business objectives.
- Budget Management: With your financial acumen, you will develop and maintain control over the ICT budget on a global scale, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to drive optimal results.
- Optimization and Growth: Analyzing system usage and processes, you will determine how to optimize return on investment, improve information technology systems, and foster business growth.
- Implementation and Integration: Oversee the seamless implementation and integration of information technology and computer systems, recommending upgrades and software purchases to keep our technology infrastructure cutting-edge.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure the security of all information, computer systems, and digital data, while also guaranteeing adherence to government regulations and guidelines for safeguarding data.
- Innovation and Research: Stay ahead of the curve by researching and forecasting emerging computing trends and their potential impact on Raute Corporation, ensuring we remain at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Technology Infrastructure: Establish maintenance checks and other technology infrastructure monitoring strategies to guarantee smooth operations and performance.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, negotiating services and contracts that provide us with the best possible solutions.
- User Training and Support: Create comprehensive training documents, including infographics, slide shows, and video tutorials for systems users, ensuring they can fully leverage our technology platforms.
- Effective Communication: Articulate technology needs and strategy to group and BU management, collecting and prioritizing business needs for information technology development.
- Customer-Focused Platforms: Collaborate in directing the development of customer-facing web platforms and digital experiences, including sales, to enhance our customer journey.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years’ leadership experience and 5-7 years’ experience in IT or data management.
- Good understanding of data analysis, business principles, and operations.
- Experience designing and developing IT systems, familiarity with MS D365 considered a big advantage.
- Strong knowledge of information security practices and compliance standards.
- Good leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for exploring and implementing cutting-edge technologies.
