We are looking for an experienced
HR DIRECTOR
with an international background.
As the HR Director, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the HR function across multiple regions, ensuring the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals. You will play a critical role in shaping the company culture, managing a diverse workforce, and driving initiatives that support employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness on a global scale. Responsibilities cover sites in Vantaa, Ecublens, Shanghai, Mumbai, and Cairo. Travelling is included to the job as well as flexibility with working hours.
HR Director is a member of the Wire & Cable management team. You report to the Vice President, HR in Davis-Standard, USA, as well as to the President of Maillefer in Finland. Your main workplace is located in Vantaa, Finland.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a global organization.
- Strong knowledge of global HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proven experience in managing a diverse, international workforce.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate and influence in a complex, global organization.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in HR technology systems and data analytics.
