We are looking for a Group Controller to join our finance team in Helsinki metropolitan area or Lahti. As a Group Controller you will report to the Kempower Group CFO.
Group Controller’s responsiblities:
- Implementing and developing monthly, quarterly and annual closing process including new subsidiaries
- Developing consolidation process on Group level
- Implementing and developing IFRS standards on Group level
- Actuals reporting according to the agreed timetable
- Preparation of interim and annual reports
- Responsible for transfer pricing model and related development
- Coordinating tax reporting for income tax and VAT
- Internal controls development
- Financial set up in subsidiaries
- Management and development of outsourced finance processes
- Board meeting and audit committee material preparation together with the CFO
- Co-operation with auditors
- Finance development projects

What we expect from you?
- Accounting degree (Master of Science)
- At least 5 years of experience in external accounting and financial reporting in a stock listed company operating in international markets
- Leadership and team building skills but ability to work on details as well
- Problem solving skills
- Good knowledge of IFRS standards and FAS regulation
- Enjoys working in a fast moving an international enviroment
- Good communication and co-operation skills
- Good documentation and written communication skills
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Fluent spoken and written English, other languages as an advantage
- Experience working as an auditor is considered an extra asset
