The headcount for Nordex Finland is approx. 150. Wind energy production is a fast-growing industry especially at the Finnish market. Nordex Group has been operating in the Finnish market since 2011 and local subsidiary company Nordex Finland Oy was established in 2020.

Current Managing Director of Nordex Finland will be heading to another position inside the Group and therefore we are looking for a new
Managing Director
to lead the organisation and to keep up and accelerate the growth of Nordex Finland Oy.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and development of the Finnish organization and ensuring legal, financial and QHSE compliance throughout the organisation and operations. Maintaining of a work environment that ensures employees’ development opportunities and overall employee wellbeing.
- Representation of Nordex Group in the Finnish market towards clients and other stakeholders.
- Development of the strategy with the functional heads and VP Region Nordic and lead the implementation of strategy in the organisation
- Member of the Nordic management team
- Reporting to the VP Region Nordic and board of directors
Qualifications:
- You are an approachable leader with good communication and negotiation skills and have experience working in an international working environment and ability to work in a matrix organisation of a multinational group.
- Significant professional experience in a similar position in a midcap or large company
- Experience in project-based business (e.g. wind industry, construction, power etc)
- Strong planning and risk management skills with reflective and efficient decision-making skills
- Change management skills and capability to lead fast-growing business in challenging and rewarding environment
- Technical and legal understanding of complex contracts
- Fluent in English and Finnish or Swedish
