Green North Energy was founded in 2021 by Elomatic when the engineers innovated new business opportunities for the soon-to-be-abandoned Naantali refinery area in Southwestern Finland. The brainstorming led to the concept of a scalable hydrogen plant, recognizing significant business potential and the opportunity to promote a shift away from the fossil economy. As a result, they took the decision to establish a green hydrogen development company, Green North Energy.
Position: Project Manager
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and be responsible for our flagship project in Naantali to lead 1) first the development phase to achieve financial close and 2) eventually execution of a construction phase to gain a fully operational plant. Project Manager will also manage and coordinate multiple external and internal stakeholders, such as engineering service providers.
Within your role you will ensure that the development and the execution of the project is according to budget/cost estimate and on schedule. Additionally, you will coordinate the different working streams in collaboration with engineering teams, contractors and other external category experts. You will be responsible for reporting on overall project progress and escalation of risks and needed decisions.
Concrete goals to your position
- Investment decision for project is made in agreed schedule
- Accuracy of cost estimates/budget
- Enhancing stakeholder collaborations (City authorities, neighboring companies, residents, and internal project resources)
What we expect:
- Experience in managing large and investment-heavy projects with multiple stakeholders (internal and external)
- Understanding project management during development and/or construction phases of an industrial project
- Experience in collaboration with engineering service providers and other contractors
