Senior Category Manager
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving category growth and optimizing supplier relationships? We’re looking for a Senior Category Manager to take ownership of key product categories and suppliers, manage assortments, and lead forecasts that drive business performance.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting in-depth competitor and market analyses, ensuring that your categories stay competitive and ahead of trends. You will play a pivotal role in managing our private label road map, boosting category growth, and enhancing overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage designated categories and suppliers, ensuring optimal product assortment.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Conduct competitor, brand and market analyses to maintain a competitive edge.
- Drive category performance through strategic insights and decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Private Label Margins: Develop and enhance private label profitability.
- Category Growth: Consistently grow your assigned categories.
- Product Mix: Optimize the ratio between branded and private label products.
- Supplier Relationships: Negotiate improved payment terms and secure favorable agreements.

Your Profile
You possess strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, as well as a deep understanding of wholesale and distribution processes. You are fluent in Finnish, English, and Swedish, and have strong ICT skills along with a business-related degree. Experience in product and assortment management is a clear advantage.
