SENIOR UNDERWRITER PROPERTY
As an underwriter, you will build up and be responsible for your own portfolio of contracts and customers with assignments such as premium setting, quotations, negotiations and measuring exposure and analyzing risk. You will underwrite complex new and renewal business and will build relationships in support of customer/business acquisition and retention. You will also proactively contribute ideas and work for the development of new or enhanced propositions based on technical, customer and distributor insights. As well as proactively seek new business opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Several years of professional experience within the Insurance Business
- Excellent understanding in corporate insurance within property lines
- Preferably an academic degree in engineering / economics or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required
Skills and competencies:
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Technical background and knowledge along the underwriting core processes
- Knowledge of risk analysis and selection, pricing for new business and renewals
- Sales oriented
- Good presentation skills
- High level of risk- and business awareness

You have a strong business and customer focus as well as interest in customer relationships and negotiation. You are fast moving and flexible.
