Fluiconnecto Finland is part of the international Manuli Ryco Group, a global provider of hydraulic solutions, industrial services, hose assemblies, fluid conveyance products, and maintenance services. With approximately 5,000 employees across 41 countries, the company serves customers in industries such as forestry, mining, construction, marine, industrial services, energy, and OEM manufacturing. The Finnish business employs approximately 130 professionals and operates a nationwide network of service centers, workshops, production facilities, and mobile service units.
As the current Managing Director prepares for retirement, we are seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded leader to take responsibility for the future growth and development of the Finnish business.
The opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to lead a profitable and well-established business with annual revenue of approximately €31 million and ambitious growth aspirations. The company aims to grow significantly its revenue over the next five years through a combination of organic growth, expansion into new market segments, customer diversification, strategic partnerships, and selective acquisitions.
Reporting to the Global Business Unit Director in Rotterdam, you will have full P&L responsibility for the Finnish organization and lead all functions across the country. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, driving commercial performance, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening organizational capabilities.
Your key responsibilities
As Managing Director, you will:
- Develop and execute the Finnish business strategy in alignment with Group objectives.
- Define and lead the company’s five-year strategic plan.
- Lead an organization of approximately 130 employees and develop a high-performing leadership team.
- Drive profitable growth, customer satisfaction, cash generation, and operational excellence.
- Expand growth in new business segments.
- Develop a multi-channel sales model and strengthen customer platform diversification.
- Build strategic relationships with key customers, OEMs, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities and support post-merger integration activities.
- Sponsor and lead key transformation initiatives, including SAP, CRM, digitalization, and process harmonization projects.
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, risk management, and health & safety standards throughout the organization.
What we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced executive with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of leading business growth.
Preferred experience
- Managing Director, General Manager, Country Manager, Business Unit Director, or similar executive leadership experience.
- Full P&L responsibility for a business unit or country organization.
- Experience in industrial services, technical distribution, industrial solutions, engineering services, hydraulics, maintenance services, or related B2B environments.
- Proven success in business development, market expansion, and commercial leadership.
- Experience leading multi-site organizations and geographically dispersed teams.
- Exposure to acquisitions, partnerships, business transformation, or change management initiatives.
- International business experience.
