Škoda Group is looking for a
PRODUCTION DIRECTOR
In this position, you will lead people and production in Otanmäki site, where we have almost 600 employees. Your most important responsibility is the improvement of the site’s efficiency by the means of lean management. You will ensure the organization is capable of safe, timely and quality manufacturing of our products to our customers. Your accountabilities include meeting our core operational targets including sustainability and financial targets.
You are a competent leader with strong integrity and interaction capabilities. You are willing to develop our leadership culture with your own example, and your willingness continuously to learn. You are ready to live by our values: Accountability, Cooperation and Entrepreneurship. You are comfortable with working in a fairly big and complex manufacturing organization where the manufacturing processes are related small series production.
We expect you to have
- a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or other relevant subject
- years of experience in manufacturing industry with extensive competences in lean and change management
- willingness and ability to develop our leadership culture
- good communication skills across functions and nationalities
- spoken and written English and Finnish are required
