As our Microsoft Modern Work & AI business grows, we are now looking for a
Microsoft Pre-Sales Architect
to help shape client opportunities, drive sales, and contribute to building a strong local offering around Microsoft-based modern AI solutions.
This role is central to our ambition to grow our Microsoft business in Finland by combining customer insight, solution sales, and a strong understanding of modern Microsoft capabilities. You will help turn client needs into credible solution concepts and commercially attractive opportunities, while working closely with sales, technical architects, and delivery teams.
Role summary
As a Microsoft Pre-Sales Architect, you will play a key role in the growth of our Microsoft business by helping clients understand how modern Microsoft solutions can support their business goals. You will work at the intersection of customer dialogue, solution shaping, and commercial development, driving the sales process from early discovery discussions to proposals, demos, proof of concepts, and early-stage pilots.
The role combines client-facing advisory work, solution thinking, and commercial acumen. You will be expected to shape high-level solution concepts, guide customers on topics such as scalability, security, and governance, and ensure that proposed solutions are both compelling and feasible to deliver.
Key expectations
- Proven track record in pre-sales and customer-facing solution work, with evidence of successful client engagements, including deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem
- Strong understanding of Microsoft data and AI technologies and their business relevance
- Ability to combine commercial and technical perspectives, including credibility in discussions with senior stakeholders
- Proactive approach to building expertise, developing relationships, and identifying new opportunities
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset with the energy to help build and grow a capability area
- Collaborative way of working across sales, architecture, and delivery teams
Key responsibilities
- Drive the growth of BearingPoint’s Microsoft business through client-facing solution sales and opportunity development
- Drive sales in proposal work, customer meetings, and opportunity development across industries in close collaboration with other BearingPoint team
- Prepare and present demos, proof of concepts, and early-stage pilots
- Lead early client discussions from discovery to initial solution framing
- Act as a trusted advisor in customer conversations related to modern workplace and AI-enabled solutions
- Guide customers on scalability, security, and governance considerations
- Contribute to offering development, knowledge sharing, and the continuous evolution of our Microsoft capabilities
What success looks like
Success in this role means helping launch several Microsoft-based client projects and playing a key role in expanding them into broader solution opportunities. Within the first year, the person in this role will have successfully convinced clients of the value of more advanced AI-driven solution approaches, including broader solution concepts connected to agentic capabilities.
