ARE YOU READY TO JOIN THE MOST AMBITIOUS ENERGY COMPANY TEAM IN THE REGION?
We are looking for a SENIOR INVESTMENT ANALYST to play a key role as part of Gren’s Growth division and specifically its Investment Management team. You enable together with the team great investment decisions through financial analysis, modelling and insights. You work equally in close cooperation alongside the Business Development and Concept Development teams.
This position will be based either in Estonia or Finland.
Your key responsibility areas include:
- Financial modeling of investment projects and business cases primarily focusing on Industrial Energy Services (IES).
- Preparing counterparty and customer analysis such as financial, commercial and market analysis.
- Conducting investment project risk vs. reward and sensitivity analysis.
- Preparing and presenting specific energy case materials including recommendations for internal investment approvals.
- Preparing financial material for specific customer and stakeholder energy contracts.
- Meeting with customers and stakeholders as part of holistic analysis work, when necessary.
- Providing occasional support as part of M&A case teams as well as in greenfield projects.
- Collaborating across functions and countries to ensure holistic and consistent view for top management and other key stakeholders.
Desired experience and skills:
- Higher education in finance, economics, industrial management/engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in financial analysis, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certificate is considered beneficial
- Statistical, data driven and problem-solving mindset
- Holistic and open-minded for business opportunities and passionate in finding added value for the company while collaborating with internal teams
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding on business drivers
- Team player with excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
- Experience with energy infrastructure projects, especially in district heating business and M&A cases would be an asset
