We are seeking a
Head of Sales | Animal Industry/Feed Additives
to join our team and lead our sales efforts in the animal industry and feed additives market. Are you an experienced sales manager with advance level knowledge about the feed additives industry? Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business goals and objectives
- Create and implement sales processes, including systems to support these processes
- Build, lead and manage a team of regional sales professionals to meet and exceed targets
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities for growth
- Research and analyze market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and messaging
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports, and provide regular updates to senior management
Requirements:
- 5+ years of b2b sales experience in the animal industry or feed additives market, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Strong understanding of animal nutrition and feed additives, with a university degree in a related field preferred
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. A good working knowledge written and spoken of French, Spanish or other additional languages are a definite plus
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed, to meet with regional sales managers, distributors, customers and attend trade shows and conferences
