Our areas of expertise are biogas, liquefied biogas (LBG), natural gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and electricity markets. We own and operate biogas plants and an extensive network of gas filling stations in the Nordic countries. Our customers include industry and businesses that use a lot of energy as well as maritime and land transport providers.
We are looking for a Head of Sustainability and HSEQ based in our Espoo office.
You will be entrusted with the overall responsibility for our sustainability and HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) related activities, leading a team of specialized experts. You will report directly to the VP of Communications and Sustainability, a member of the Gasum management team.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Leading sustainability reporting and the implementation of CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Directive).
- Driving continuous improvement and development of a safety-first culture within the organization
- Providing expert advice on sustainability to our customers and other stakeholders
- Managing and developing certified HSEQ and biogas sustainability management systems (ISO9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, national and ISCC biogas sustainability systems).
- Ensuring and developing ESG data and greenhouse gas emission calculation management.
What we expect from you:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in corporate sustainability/HSEQ roles.
- Expertise in sustainability, including compliance, ESG reporting, and greenhouse gas emission management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage and drive change
- Capability to work independently, with strategic and operational thinking.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and reporting skills
- Fluent in Finnish and English.
