About this opportunity
We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our IT development team. In this role, you will play a key part in turning business needs into solutions that improve business processes, digital services, and customer experience.
You will work at the intersection of business and technology as part of an Agile development environment, collaborating closely with Product Owners, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and digitalization
- Gather, clarify, and validate business needs together with relevant stakeholders
- Translate business needs into clear features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in close collaboration with Product Owners and development teams
- Drive analysis and requirement refinement for the development and enhancement of digital business solutions
- Support prioritization and refinement of the backlog by clarifying business value, requirements, and dependencies
- Identify dependencies and impacts across processes, systems, and teams
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including refinement, planning, and review activities
- Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and development initiatives
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with business and cross-functional development teams
- Ensure that regulatory and compliance requirements are considered throughout the development process
- Support testing and validation to ensure that delivered solutions meet agreed business needs
- Create and maintain relevant business process and requirements documentation
Required Qualifications
We are looking for a professional with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field, combined with at least three years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, or digital development, preferably within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills and is able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization. You can communicate clearly and confidently between business and technology teams, translating complex needs into practical solutions. You have a structured and analytical approach to work while maintaining an end-to-end understanding of processes and business objectives. You are comfortable working both independently and as part of cross-functional teams, and you bring a curious mindset with a willingness to challenge existing ways of working and drive continuous improvement.
You have experience e.g. in the following topics:
- Experience in business process modeling and requirements management
- Experience in turning complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience working in Agile development environments; experience with SAFe is considered an advantage
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Fluent Finnish and English; Swedish is considered an advantage
