Sartorius Biohit Liquid Handling Oy is now looking for an experienced
Continuous Improvement Manager
to drive a continuous improvement and quality-focused business culture throughout the organization. As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will work in close cooperation with the global continuous improvement network as well as internal functions, such as Quality, R&D, plastics production, and assembly. The Continuous Improvement Manager is member of the production support team for mechanical and electronic pipettes and reports to Head of Operations.
In your role as Continuous Improvement manager, you will lead the company´s continuous improvement program and educate the organization in implementing continuous improvement techniques. You will analyse company processes and procedures and update systems on identified enchantments, offering technical expertise on statistics, Six Sigma methodology, tools and practices.
In order to be successful in this role you need to have a minimum of five years of experience in applying Continuous Improvement and Quality Management techniques in an industrial environment. You have solid experience in manufacturing processes, preferably in injection molding and assembly in the medical equipment manufacturing industry, with a good understanding of industry regulations and standards (ISO 9001, 13485, 14001).
As a person you are a team player and an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities, with a sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures. You are familiar with international business and understand the dynamics of corporate organisations. You have a strong technical competence (M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or similar) as well as excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills in Finnish and English at all levels.
