We are looking for a Director of Technology.
You are the person we’re looking for if, together with your technical skills, you enjoy working hands-on with your team, are goal-driven and ready to learn and develop alongside your team.
We expect a proven track record in Software Development and leadership skills. You will lead a multicultural technical team operating in multiple locations.
The Director of Technology is a key role for GetJenny. Communication skills and a proactive approach are vital to your success. You will oversee technical development of an AI chatbot solution as we grow internationally.
The Director of Technology is a member of GetJenny’s management team and reports to the COO.
Skills:
- Senior-Level Software Development (preferably Full-Stack)
- Good knowledge of Agile methodology
- Proven ability in architectural design and scalability optimization
- Senior Project Management skills
- Advanced understanding of business dynamics
- Experience in leading a team of senior developers grow
- Experience in the role of Product Manager or good understanding of the role in optimizing customer value
- Good understanding of security and IT
- Fluent English (Finnish and other languages are considered a bonus)
A big plus if you have a track record in:
- Backend Development
- Software Architecture
- Cloud Computing
- Artificial Intelligence
Expected Experience:
Previous experience in a Tech/R&D Team as a team lead/manager, Lead Developer experience seen as a plus
- Track record in Design, Project Management and Team Leadership
Previous experience in the following is considered a plus:
- working virtually with an international team
- product management
- AI applications
- working closely with management/leadership teams
- leadership of international suppliers
