We are now looking for an experienced and strategic Head of IT to lead and develop our entire IT function.
Role in a nutshell
The Head of IT is responsible for FinVector’s IT strategy, its implementation, and the overall leadership of the IT function. In this role, you will lead a modern IT environment, drive digitalisation, and ensure that IT strongly supports business growth, quality, and regulatory requirements.
This is a CIO-level role with direct impact across the entire organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Overall leadership of the IT function: infrastructure, operations, systems, cybersecurity, and digitalisation
- Planning and implementing the IT strategy in collaboration with business leadership
- Vendor management and IT sourcing
- Planning, monitoring, and optimising the IT budget
- Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements
- Leading and developing a 15-person IT team
What we expect from you
Experience and expertise
- At least 10 years of experience in IT roles
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading an IT team
- Experience in a regulated environment is considered an advantage (e.g. pharma, medtech, finance)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity
- Experience in large IT projects (e.g. ERP, digitalisation)
- Ability to lead complex entities with a hands-on approach
- Fluent English, as it is the working language in the company
