We are now looking for a
Finance Manager (Finland)
to take full ownership of the financials of the Finnish entity — working independently, yet closely connected to an experienced international finance organisation.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you are at the heart of the business. You are not just supporting — you are responsible.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Managing the general ledger and month-end close
- Statutory and regulatory reporting (Finnish GAAP, FSA)
- Working closely with the Managing Director, Board and Group Finance
- Acting as a key contact for auditors, tax advisors and regulators
- Supporting acquisitions and technically complex accounting topics
- Collaborating with actuarial, risk and other key functions
- Developing finance processes and strengthening internal controls
This is a role where you will see the direct impact of your work on the business.
Who are we looking for?
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, independence and hands-on finance work.
You likely have:
- 4–8 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting within financial services
- Strong hands-on experience with month-end close and management accounts
- Solid knowledge of Finnish GAAP
- Experience working with auditors and statutory reporting
- Ability to operate independently in a lean organisation
A background in insurance or Big4 audit is highly valued — but above all, we are looking for someone who is motivated to take ownership and grow further.
