To strengthen its organisation in Finland and to support the growing demand for technical education and customer support, KUKA is now looking for a Technical Sales Support Engineer to join its team.
Your role
As Technical Sales Support Engineer, you provide expert technical support and guidance to customers throughout their automation journey, following the initial engagement by the Area Sales Managers. You play a key role in translating customer requirements into effective KUKA solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal use of KUKA’s technologies. By combining deep domain knowledge in robotics, AI and IoT with a collaborative approach, you help customers navigate complex challenges and achieve long-term success with intelligent automation.
Your primary assignments
- Develop Machine Builders — build and grow strong, long-term relationships with machine builders across Finland
- Develop KUKA System Partners — actively support and expand KUKA’s network of System Partners
- Develop Integrators — strengthen technical and commercial cooperation with system integrators
- Win new partners and machine builders — identify, approach and onboard new machine builders and partners to grow KUKA’s footprint
- Support conversion from competitor robot brands to KUKA — provide the technical expertise and consultative support that helps customers switch to KUKA’s robotics, AI and IoT solutions
Your key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of KUKA’s product portfolio and technological advantages
- Partner with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose tailored automation solutions using KUKA’s robotics, AI and IoT platforms
- Deliver advanced robotics, programming and application training at KUKA College facilities, ensuring high technical competence among customers, partners and internal teams
- Deliver compelling technical presentations and live demonstrations that showcase the value of our digital ecosystem
- Translate complex technical features into clear business benefits for stakeholders at all levels
- Support the full sales cycle, including pre-sales consultations, solution ideas and post-sales onboarding
- Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams
- Collaborate with engineering, product and digital services teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies and competitor offerings
- Contribute to the development of sales tools, technical documentation and customer success stories
- Participate in conferences and customer events to promote KUKA solutions
- Collaborate with marketing and the internal sales team to create technical content and promotional materials
What we expect from you
You will succeed in this role when you have:
- Technical sales or application engineering experience in industrial automation
- Experience with industrial robots and robot programming
- Experience supporting machine builders, OEMs or system integrators
- Experience in customer-facing technical consulting roles
- Experience with automation system integration projects
- Experience delivering technical training and presentations
